2.  Create a Birthday Card for Dr. Seuss  Have at least one pop-up  Write a message from the character  Difficulty: Not very difficult, but allows for creativity (too easy for 4 th grade)

3.  Have students read any Dr. Seuss book  Students will write a book report  Create a pop-up birthday card with four complete sentences

4.  Construction Paper  Yarn  Popsicle Sticks  Scissors  Glue Stick  Markers, Colored Pencils, & Crayons

5.  Original lesson plan did not require a book report  Could have the students write their own book for older grades
