3. WHAT´S THE NIRVANA GROUP? Nirvana was an American rock band formed in 1987 in Aberdeen in Washington State. Is one of the most influential music group of 90. years 20. during the 19th century. Its founding members were Kurt Cobain (guitar, vocals) and Krist Novoselic (bass guitar). In the group Nirvana a few drummers, one was held last by Dave Grohl. In 1989 Nirvana recorded their debut Studio album called Bleach that does not become a turning point for the group. A turning point in her career came in 1991, when the release of their new single "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to the name of the album Nevermind. This song has gotten on the first steps in the dance charts, and opened the way to the glory of this band. The third and last Studio album released in 1993 under the name of In Utero. This album contained the song "Me" and later hits, Rapee, "Heart-Shaped Box". A frontman of Nirvana, Kurt Cobain was broken up after suicide group in April 1994. Since its inception has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. The musical style that the band Nirvana played, began to refer to as grunge. Similar to music presented by the band Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.
