1. I magine This… A young boy attending elementary school… The kind of school where many kids are free to play in the playground with little to worry about… As you look to your right you see a patch of dirt. On the dirt is a red swing set that has faded in color as if telling a story of the many times it has swung back and forth... Around the swing set are several children… Some are running around while others choose to play in the dirt… Remember Now… The young boy earlier who attends this school... Though many of his friends come to school having fun with little to worry about… This young boy comes to school in fear… As he sits on an old wooden bench at the edge of the patch of dirt… He waits in fear while others are laughing and playing.

2. Visualize and Imagine It Do you see it? Now ask yourself… What is he afraid of? He is surrounded by his friends who are having so much fun! This is my story that I willingly share with you… I was that young boy and this was the image I was faced with everyday as a child, but fortunately now realize that it is not reality. Don’t misunderstand me… This actually happened everyday… Do you understand what I mean? Allow me to tell you the meaning and I will finish the story. The choice is yours to continue reading… I do not know your story… I do not know what challenges you face everyday in your life… But I know that every individual on this planet has a story of a life that is filled with fear and suffering…

3. A life that is filled with pain even though others around you are filled with joy… We watching others who are filled with joy and free from the suffering… Within each of us is that boy sitting on that bench filled with pain… As if it was controlled by an outside force… Pushing darkness into our lives… But regardless of this darkness... Peace and Love do live on… Out of this image, there is still Joy that is meant for YOU and I … You are my Friend which I love and care for. You ARE my Friend which I Love. You ARE…My Friend…which I Love.

4. Do you understand? Love is the most powerful force that motivates people to act… Without it, these words would be empty… Without love, these words would not be here… Without love, these words would not exist to offer you comfort and assurance that you...ARE NOT…alone.

5. Everyday I think about the world and the pain that is inflicted within it… Imagine this with me… Visualize a shadow that covers you… Imagine yourself between two tall walls where light cannot get through… At a distance you see the sun shining down on others but because the walls block the sun, no light makes it to you. So ask yourself… “Why do I see others living in the light filled with joy, while I am in the shadows filled with pain?” “Is it because the walls were placed there around me?” “Or is it because I am still in the shadow?” Pain is the sensation you feel when something is not right. Do you understand this? Pain is what YOU feel when something is wrong. Think about it. Since there is pain, and pain means that something isn’t right…

6. Then what is Right? Doesn’t it make sense that what is right would get rid off the pain and bring you comfort and joy? Doesn’t it make sense that what is right would bring to you what the shadow has kept you from? Now Picture a BRIGHT LIGHT being cast down that was specifically made for YOU! Imagine with me a bright light that was made so specific to you that it shines directly above you just perfectly between the two walls… It would not take much to live out of the shadow then would it? All you would have to do would be to look up. I call you my friend that I love and truly care for. Because I care about you and wish you to be filled with Joy, I want to tell you a little secret… Can I tell you this secret?

7. Here is the rest of my story… Here is what I meant when I said… “I was that young boy and this was the image I was faced with everyday as a child, but fortunately now realize that it is not reality.”

8. As a young boy I came to school everyday in fear of a bully… A boy in my school used intimidation to force me to act as his puppet. I was so much of a puppet that I had to ask him first if I could get a simple drink of water… A life in oppression… A few years later, my family found out about my situation and my older brother came to my school to stop this from happening. And although my brother was able to stop this from happening… It was only until recently, nearly 20 years later, that the feeling of oppression was lifted. The feeling of fear and pain was lifted by the light made specifically for each of us. This light does not come from anything we see with our physical eyes for the pain did not continue from anything that we can neither see nor touch. This light that lifted fear and oppression did not come from anything that is in the physical… This pain did not continue because the physical intimidation was there… This pain came from the intimidation that remained within the heart and spirit.

9. The Pain Came from within where it could not be Healed by Human Hands So ask yourself… Why do you seek comfort for your heart and spirit…from something that you can physically touch and see? Why do you believe that this light that heals our spirit can be found in something you can touch? How can the flesh heal the spirit? What can truly heal you exists only in the spirit…the same place where you and I suffer. The fear I lived with as a child is no longer a reality. This fear that haunted my heart and spirit was cured through the light brought by the Spirit. The Spirit is Reality… Do not seek comfort where comfort does not exist. Understand this with me again… Pain has existed long before we were born in this world… The light, which breaks through the darkness of our shadows and pain, was already given to you and me before we were born.

10. Since there is a hunger that is felt by the spirit, then there must be a world that exists only in the Spirit. Since there is a world that exists only in the Spirit, then there must be One who has dominion over this world. Since there is a pain within our spirit that cannot be mended by human hands… Then what is the Way for healing? Wouldn’t the Way for healing be given by the same Being that brings light and has dominion over the Spirit? As I think about the world and all the suffering inflicted within it… I am humbled and filled with Joy everyday to know that the One who is the Spirit is God and He has brought His Son Jesus Christ as the Way to heal all suffering. Jesus is the Light that was made specifically for you and me, to break the shadows that exist between the walls of sin and darkness. Jesus is Truth and the Way to the salvation of our Spirit where true reality exists. All we have to do is look up within our hearts… To See The Light Shining Upon It

11. Some of you may have difficulty believing in God and that there is a Spirit because it is beyond what is in the physical… Some of you may be struggling to accept Jesus because of the amount of pain you have suffered through… Some of you may not believe in Jesus because of the diversity of religions and beliefs around the world and the different views they offer… My dear friends… Even if you are struggling with these questions…do you still not recognize the hunger for Truth? To seek Truth you must find where Truth is kept. So I encourage you to seek Truth.

12. Mathew Chapter 7 paragraph 7 states, “Ask and you will receive; seek and “Ask and you will receive; seek and you shall find; knock and door will be you shall find; knock and door will be opened.” opened.”

13. As my testimony to you, I constantly try to seek and have questions, and the Joy God has given me is beyond anything I have said to you here. Through this Light was given an understanding of what healing brings with it… Healing is brought to us because God Loves us. This healing is free… Our debts are paid through Jesus and the Cross….

14. A debt we would have never been able to pay but was paid for by God because of His Love. Healing Is Free! With this healing comes love and compassion. Because of His Love I am free from the feeling of fear and oppression… I am now able to forgive the person that used intimidation to control me and even call him…my friend that I love and care for. In love we are called to care for others. In caring for others we begin to understand. From understanding, prejudice is erased. Without prejudice, a life is free to love one another as Jesus has commanded us to do. With understanding and a life devoted to loving God and loving others…free from prejudice, how can the Spirit suffer? How can the Spirit suffer if you live for the One who heals the Spirit? And without suffering what is left but Joy? And who else gives us joy but God.

15. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO SEEK TRUTH The Love of God is the answer and I pray that you believe… I Am Praying for You. If still you don’t believe in Him… Even if you don’t… He still Loves You God still Loves You God will always Love You My friend that I love…
