7. 16 July 2002 Issues 1.Installations depend upon coordination with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for: Funding Project Planning Infrastructure Installation 2.Currently no consensus on Weir and Pool, Counting Window or Vertical Slot implementations. Fish are missed in Weir and Pool systems Counting windows have been proven, but no two are the same! Vertical slots have not been proven – some technical issues remain to be resolved

8. 16 July 2002 Summary Weir and Pool systems successfully deployed at Bonneville and McNary last winter and are providing good data this year. A Counting Window prototype was successfully deployed at the McNary, Oregon Shore fish ladder last winter and is providing good data this year. Douglas County PUD contracted with PSMFC / PTAGIS to install adult detection system at Wells Dam last winter. Good data being provided.
