3 Background Company History GulfCap Group was founded in 2006 by bankers and professionals to pursue transactions in proprietary private equity and investment management (financial services, oil & gas and real estate), investment advisory, management consultancy and corporate finance. Following its establishment a group of institutional-grade investors from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman contributed US$ 30 million as equity for sponsoring the Group's co-investment in private equity deals and development of its operations. Following a restructuring of shareholders' interests in the Group in 2010, the management team launched GulfCap Africa (GCAF) which includes GulfCap Investments LLC Dubai, a limited liability company incorporated in the UAE and GulfCap Africa Limited, another limited liability company incorporated in Kenya. GCAF is engaged in the setting up business ventures and providing business and financial advisory services mainly in East Africa..

4 About GulfCap Africa  GulfCap Africa is an affiliate of GulfCap Investments (a Private Equity company based in Dubai).  It has been in operation in Kenya since 2011.  The firm focuses on proprietary private equity and investment management transactions.  Main focus in Africa has been on green field projects.  The management team of GulfCap has extensive experience in banking, investment banking and strategic investments. 7 Kenyan Credentials GULF AFRICAN BANK (KENYA) Founder shareholder GulfCap is now working on setting of Gulf African Bank Tanzania and Gulf African Bank Uganda. Gulf African Bank is now the 14th largest bank in Kenya. It was voted the best Islamic Bank in Africa last year Fantastic achievement for a bank that is barely 6 years old GULF ENERGY  Incorporated in May 2005  Gulf Energy was the largest importer of oil and oil products in Kenya in 2010, 2011 and 2012  It now has subsidiaries in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia and South Africa GULF POWER  Set up in 2009  Developed an 80.32MW Medium Speed HFO Thermal Power Plant that’s starts production in August  Developing 980MW coal power plant in Lamu as part of a consortium GULF HOMES  Formed in 2008  Kshs 1.5 billion worth of property development done to-date AFRICAN GAS & OIL LTD (AGOL)  Co-arranger for raising $40 Million on behalf of AGOL for construction of an LPG facility in Mombasa FURSALEO (MOMBASA)  GulfCap was involved in setting up Fursa Leo.  Fursa Leo’s goal is to empower socio – economically marginalized women through accessibility to financial services COAST INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY  Coast International Limited is the SPV for the project of Coast International University (CIU)  CIU is being set up to create a world class university affiliated with international universities providing high quality education using technological advanced forms of study Gulf Homes
