17 SENSATION FROM FACE Input via the trigeminal nerve (Cranial nerve V) Opthalmic (V 1 ), Maxillary (V 2 ) and Mandibular (V 3 ) branches Projections to trigeminal ganglion (pons) and nucleus (medulla) Fibers cross and ascend to the Ventral Posterior Medial (VPM) Thalamus
