2 Elvis Aaron Presley : Birth
Elvis Aaron Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8th, 1935. Shelby, North Carolina Tupelo, Mississippi Elvis Presley’s birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi.

3 Elvis Aaron Presley : Career
At the age of thirteen, Elvis and his family moved to Memphis, Tennessee. Presley began his career there in 1954, working with Sun Records owner Sam Phillips, who wanted to bring the sound of African American music to a wider audience. Accompanied by guitarist, Scotty Moore and bassist, Bill Black, Presley was one of the originators of rockabilly.

Elvis released his first number one hit single “Heartbreak Hotel” in 1956. He Became a new leader of Rock and Roll. (Later to be named “The King” of Rock and Roll.) In November of 1956, Presley acted in his first movie, “Love Me Tender.”

5 Elvis Aaron Presley : Priscilla (Wife)
Priscilla Ann Wagner was born May 24th, 1945, a little over ten years after Elvis. Priscilla met Elvis on September 13th, 1959. They married on May 1st, 1967 at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. Priscilla Wagner in 1961. Priscilla Presley at an opera house in 2001.

6 Elvis Aaron Presley : Lisa Marie (Daughter)
Lisa Marie Presley was born February 1st, 1968 to parents Elvis and Priscilla Presley. Lisa Marie today is an American singer and songwriter. Because of her fathers title; “King of Rock and Roll” she was later called the “Princess of Rock and Roll!” Ironically, Lisa Marie was married to the “King Of Pop”, Michael Jackson, from Lisa Marie at the 2006 Grammy Awards. Lisa Marie and Michael Jackson in 1995.

8 Elvis Aaron Presley : Military Service
On March 24, 1958, Presley was inducted into the U.S. Army as a private at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. His arrival was a major media event. Hundreds of people descended on Presley as he exited the bus; the press and photographers accompanied him into the base.

11 Elvis Aaron Presley : Death
Elvis was scheduled to fly out of Memphis on the evening of August 16, 1977, to begin another tour. That afternoon, his assistant discovered him unresponsive on his bathroom floor. Attempts to revive him failed, and death was officially pronounced at 3:30 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Many people believed that Elvis’ cause of death was from an overdose of codeine pills. But in 1994, Elvis’ autopsy was reopened, and Dr. Joseph Davis had this to say! "There is nothing in any of the data that supports a death from drugs. In fact, everything points to a sudden, violent heart attack.” Elvis’ final resting place at Graceland. - Dr. Joseph Davis MD

Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was married to Priscilla Wagner and they had a daughter together named, Lisa Marie. Elvis owned a large white home in Memphis, Tennessee and named it Graceland. In 1958, Elvis was inducted into the military. Elvis died on the evening of August 16th, 1977 and was scheduled to fly out of Memphis on tour, the same day!!! R.I.P. KING of Rock and Roll!!!
