1. Metadata / Browse –The GeoConnections Discovery Portal (GDP) is the main point for all Canadian Geospatial Data infrastructure (CGDI) metadata. Organizations (Intl = 1399 Cdn = 563) Products (Intl = 11720 Cdn = 1138) Collections (Intl = 146 Cdn = 165) CGDI Web Services – currently 15 registered –The GDPs metadata is in FGDC but it is moving towards ISO standard

2. Satellite image inventory –The CCRS Earth Observation Catalogue contains over 2M scenes (acquired by the Canadian receiving stations) –Browse images available for RADARSAT, Landsat, NOAA and SPOT –CEOCat Metadata is based on the content of the catalogue update file –The browse and metadata can be viewed from the CEOCat website (http://ceocat.ccrs.nrcan.gc.ca) or through the GDP (http://geodiscover.gc.ca)
