© 2006 Open Grid Forum 2 IPR Notice I acknowledge that participation in this meeting is subject to the OGF Intellectual Property Policy. Intellectual Property Notices Note Well: All statements related to the activities of the OGF and addressed to the OGF are subject to all provisions of Appendix B of GFD-C.1, which grants to the OGF and its participants certain licenses and rights in such statements. Such statements include verbal statements in OGF meetings, as well as written and electronic communications made at any time or place, which are addressed to: the OGF plenary session, any OGF working group or portion thereof, the OGF Board of Directors, the GFSG, or any member thereof on behalf of the OGF, the ADCOM, or any member thereof on behalf of the ADCOM, any OGF mailing list, including any group list, or any other list functioning under OGF auspices, the OGF Editor or the document authoring and review process Statements made outside of a OGF meeting, mailing list or other function, that are clearly not intended to be input to an OGF activity, group or function, are not subject to these provisions. Excerpt from Appendix B of GFD-C.1: Where the OGF knows of rights, or claimed rights, the OGF secretariat shall attempt to obtain from the claimant of such rights, a written assurance that upon approval by the GFSG of the relevant OGF document(s), any party will be able to obtain the right to implement, use and distribute the technology or works when implementing, using or distributing technology based upon the specific specification(s) under openly specified, reasonable, non-discriminatory terms. The working group or research group proposing the use of the technology with respect to which the proprietary rights are claimed may assist the OGF secretariat in this effort. The results of this procedure shall not affect advancement of document, except that the GFSG may defer approval where a delay may facilitate the obtaining of such assurances. The results will, however, be recorded by the OGF Secretariat, and made available. The GFSG may also direct that a summary of the results be included in any GFD published containing the specification. OGF Intellectual Property Policies are adapted from the IETF Intellectual Property Policies that support the Internet Standards Process.

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 4 Test Scenarios Approach to Security in Interop WSRF Basic Profile 1.0 Security Basic Security Profile 1.0 – core Security Profile 1.0 – secure channel

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 5 Detail Slides for Tests See the Wiki too https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/wiki/do/viewP age/projects.ogsa- wg/wiki/OGSAWSRFBP1.0Testshttps://forge.gridforum.org/sf/wiki/do/viewP age/projects.ogsa- wg/wiki/OGSAWSRFBP1.0Tests

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 6 OGSA BSP - Core R0301 EPR MUST include EndpointKeyInfo element. R0302 EPR MUST include only one EndpointKeyInfo element. For the test, we will assume that the KeyInfo will be the X.509 public certificate of the service. The EPR will be published on the Wiki. The client consuming this EPR, should extract the key and use it to authenticate the service in the secure channel interop. Test TargetsTest Scenario

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 7 OGSA BSP - Secure Channel R0301/02 Requirements are on both client and server. R0303/04/05/06 MUST use TLS/SSL for HTTP and non-HTTP connections. R0307/08/09/10 Recommend cipher suites. R0317/18 MUST authenticate. R10319/20/21 Prohibited cipher suites. Services implement a simple get me WS operation. GetMe () -> String The String should contain the fingerprint from the client certificate. Client root certificate distribution is through the Wiki. All other interop test here assume that secure channel will be used for authentication and authorization. Test TargetsTest Scenario

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 8 OGSA WSRF Basic Profile Address MUST use EPRs Resource Properties ResourcePropertyNames FinalWSResourceInterface WSResourceInterfaces ResourceEndpointReference Resource Properties Operations Required by WSRF: GetResourceProperty Required by this profile: GetMultipleResourceProperties QueryResourceProperties MUST support Xpath queries Notification Support Subscribe Must support Simple and Xpath subscription Support Property Change Notification Dont support UseRaw Support Notify Lifetime Support for Destroy Support for SetTerminationTime Base Faults Must support Base Faults

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 9 Tests Get these four Resource Properties ResourcePropertyNames, FinalWSResourceInterface, WSResourceInterfaces, ResourceEndpointReference Using each of these operations: GetResourceProperty GetMultipleResourceProperties QueryResourceProperties using Xpath queries The properties returned should be Property names: the four listed above plus CurrentTime, TerminationTime, TopicExpressionDialect, and a RP for the counter used to test property change notification. The resource interfaces should be Resource Properties, Lifetime, and Notification producer. Final interface and EPR are dependent on the implementation.

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 10 Tests Destroy and SetTerminationTime Destroy the service and then attempt to do a get resource properties, a rw:ResourceUnknownFault should be returned. Set the termination to to 2 minutes in the future and wait 3 minutes, then attempt to do a get resource properties, a rw:ResourceUnknownFault should be returned. Base Faults Test higher order faults by attempting to get non existent Resource Properties.

© 2006 Open Grid Forum 11 Tests Subscribe using Simple QName and Xpath filters to changes in the a Resource property. The counter will be changed occasionally out of bands, e.g. a timer will increment the counter every few minutes. A notification consumer (not necessarily the client) will listed for deliver operations expecting the Notify wrapped messages.
