6. 1.02LListing Preparation Tasks6 The Recipe Ingredients ½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened ½ cup shortening ¾ cup brown sugar, (packed) ½ cup white sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips 2 cups all-purpose flour Directions: 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2.In one bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. In the mixer bowl combine softened butter with shortening, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Cream together until smooth. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. 3.Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 -10 minutes 4.Remove to cooling rack
