7. These principles are being implemented at the Governor’s Career & Technical Academy (GCTAA) at the Arlington Career Center. Governor’s Academy

8.  Creation of Governor’s Academy in the Fall of 2008 adds dual-enrollment  Focus on integrative STEM education to include NOVA’s presence  CTE instructors become certified to teach dual-enrollment classes as adjunct faculty at NOVA.  Virginia Tech trains instructors in integrative STEM pedagogy.
