Where the voice follows the normal conventional path from the exchange, data is aggregated and uplinked through ETHERNET pot. IIt multiplexes and de-multiplexes aggravated traffic through a single high speed link. IIt forwards voice to exchange and data to LAN switches. DDSLAM are available in 6 types based on the no of ports according to the requirement (480, 240, 120, 64, 32, 16)
