Student Health Services Priorities 2011 - 2012 Future Goals AAAHC accreditation: The process will continue with a trial site visit before formal audit. – Migrate policy data from the current format into electronic spreadsheets – Maintain present quality assurance programs – Create a formal orientation for new employees Assessment: Use the present benchmarking tool to identify areas of further interest: – Retention of first generation, international & under represented minority students

Preparing for a hard waiver system for insurance billing – Make sure that appropriate visit coding is in place – Sort out HIPPA and FERPA regulations and how they apply to medical care of students – Audit medical notes to insure that billing requirements are in place and coincide with the RVU’s system – Learn from ACHA about about how Federal Regulations might change requirements for university health services
