2 This slide show will show you how to log in and use the ETUDES-NG classroom.

3 Where do I go to log on to the course? Start up Firefox or Internet Explorer and type in the following address in you browser’s address box: http://etudes-ng.fhda.edu/portal

4 We will log in as the fictitious student Terry Rodriguez who is currently enrolled in three ETUDES classes.

5 What is my User ID? In lower case letters and with no spaces:  the first two letters of you first name  the first two letters of you last name  And the last 5 digits of your student ID number Example: Terry Rodriguez: Student ID number: 88 022 9955 User Name is : tero29955

6 What is my password? Using four numbers together with no spaces:  Use two numbers for your birth month and  Use two numbers for you birth day Example: Terry Rodriguez’ birth date is January 3rd his password is: 0103

7 User ID goes here Password goes here goes here Now click on the log in button tero09955 0103

8 You are now logged in to My Workspace.

9 You are logged in to My Workspace, not your class. Here you can change your password by clicking on the “Account” button.

10 Click on Modify Details

11 Enter your new password twice and write it down for safe keeping. Then click on “update details”. Note: To reset your password check the ETUDES website, not the school.

12 You have successfully changed your password

13 Notice the links at the top. Remember, Terry has three classes so he has three tabs.

14 Terry has 3 classes. He clicks on the first one. This is his Philosophy course.

15 Terry is now in his class.
