The intent of the AP Statistics curriculum is to offer a modern introduction to statistics that is equal to the best college courses in an intellectual content and in its alignment with the contemporary practice of statistics. They will study probability and use it in simulations. Finally, students will learn to construct confidence intervals and perform significance testing.
Textbook: The Practice of Statistics, 3 rd ed. by Yates, Moore, Starnes Graphing Calculator A TI- 83, 84, or 89 is a requirement for this course. Students may check one out for the semester, if needed
