4. Zhan Tianyou The Father of Chinese railroads( 铁路）. He was born in 1861. He was a railroad engineer ( 工程师 ). In 1905, the Chinese government( 政府 ) wanted to build ( 建造 ) a railroad. Foreign ( 外国的 ) people, like the British and the Russians ( 俄国 人 )wanted to build it.
