180 Degrees Consulting Who are we? 180 Degrees Consulting is an international volunteer student consultancy that works with socially conscious organizations, helping them achieve a greater social impact. We help non-profit organizations and charities to solve their business problems Founded at the University of Sydney in 2007 Effective use of funds is just as important as the level of funds 2

180 Degrees Consulting History 3 We currently employ over 350 consultants in 19 offices internationally Our international network and human capital are our most important resources, responsible for generating considerable social impact.

180 Degrees Consulting Why it works 4 Project Our student-consultants get unparalleled work experience to contribute to the community by applying their knowledge in a practical environment. The NGOs will get consulting services that address problems and offer innovative, sustainable and practical solutions

180 Degrees Consulting Canterbury Branch 5 Started in the second semester of 2012 We had 2 clients for the initial semester Continued to grow and currently have 4 projects running this semester Have worked with 8 clients since 2012 with repeating business from clients who were impressed with our work

180 Degrees Consulting How a project works 6 Clients are engaged and an initial problem scope is defined Recruitment of consultants Regular meetings with clients and teams

180 Degrees Consulting How a project works 7 Training for the consultants provided by industry professionals and university lecturers Final report with findings submitted to the client Presentation evening where the team presents their findings to the client. Are often asked to present to Board of Directors or national offices
