7 ENEE 505 Effluent Treatment Processes for Energy Industry Application of fundamental engineering concepts to develop process design specifications for physical, chemical and biological unit operations and processes used for the treatment of gaseous, liquid and solid effluents from production, transportation and utilization of carbon-based energy sources.

8 ENEE 573 Engineering Aspects of Sustainable Communities Ecological footprint, life cycle assessment, sustainable construction, energy efficiency in buildings, intelligent and sustainable transportation, control of water/air pollution from mobile and stationary sources, energy from waste.
