2. A Teacher Is… “…someone who sees what can be accomplished, not what cannot be accomplished. Teachers know that to expect their students to become lifelong learners they must be willing to do the same.” -Mary Kuebler

3. A Role Model Teachers are people who see our children day in and day out, 180 days a year. They are the ones who give our children educational guidance.

4. A Friend Some of the best teachers are ones you can confide in. They are always there to listen and help encourage you in your endeavors!

5. A Communicator They are always there to listen to the needs of the students, as well as expressing them to the parents and maintaining a good relationship between home and school.

6. Mediator Teachers also have the tough job of keeping the peace in their classroom. They have to come up with ways to keep all the students engaged while making sure that students with conflicts can be civil.

7. A Real Person Most importantly, teachers are people, just like you and me. They went through school just like we did. They struggled, and made mistakes, but their job is to help you to learn so that you can maybe not make those mistakes yourself!
