4 Survey (调查研究) 对于“气候变暖”的原因,有许多不同的观点。为此我们小组一行六人利用课外时间就下面三个问题做了简单社会调查:
 对于“气候变暖”的原因,有许多不同的观点。为此我们小组一行六人利用课外时间就下面三个问题做了简单社会调查: What do you think causes global warming? How does global warming affect you and others? How does global warming affect the nature?

6 Conclusion Dear classmates,
Our group went to the streets and interviewed 2 thousand people at random, including men and women of all ages. Here are the results: Only 15 percent of the people think that global warming is nothing serious but a natural cycle while the rest think that it is caused by human activity, like cutting down forests and burning fossil fuels, which adds an extra amount of greenhouse gases to the earth atmosphere.

The recent attention given to the greenhouse effect and global warming is based on the recorded increases in concentrations of some of the greenhouse gases due to human activity.

Group member: Sarah “From this unit I have learned how to live more sustainably. It is important to conserve our natural resources. It is pretty easy to take care of our planet if you think about it.”

Group leader: David “Global Warming is the coolest class that I have ever taken in high school. We will start a recycling program, plant a garden and build a greenhouse. I have basically learned how we can help make the world a more sustainable place.”

Group journalist: Amy “By exploring this environmental issue Global warming, I have known what humans have done or are being done harm the planet, the importance of sustainability and how the world is affected by every individual. I can make a positive difference through my voice and my actions!”

Group member: Jessie “I am very grateful to Mr William. He offered us these wonderful lessons about global warming. By studying the science of global warming, I know the importance of saving energy and protecting the environment, and what I can do to make a positive difference.”

Cameraman: Jim “I look at the world much differently now that I took these lessons on global warming. I will use my camera to take more photos that can raise public awareness about environmental protection.

Group Secretary: Emily “Dear classmates, from the one-week course Mr. William has taught us what causes global warming and what impact it has on the planet which we depend on. He led us to inquire deeply into the environment and managed to let us know what we can do to help create tomorrow today. Boys and girls, take action now. We can also influence other people to work together to fight global warming. Here we owe a lot of thanks to Mr. William. Thank you, Mr. William. Thank you for preparing such wonderful lessons for us.”
