In the second year of study students will sit at Trial Exam at TAFE and have an option to undertake a HSC exam at their school. These students then may be eligible for an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) in addition to their 4 units.

8 You are responsible for preparing your students for their HSC examination. You are also responsible for conducting, marking and submitting marks for the trial exam. The trial exam result is used by the Board of Studies as the student’s estimated mark.
