8 4 th June 200823 rd SWWT SWENET Status Report 8 Upcoming tasks Finalise implementation of Index Quality Statistics –implementation of quality statistic plots for index forecast, comparing calculated values with measured ones. –Validate the quality of forecasts and predictions of different quantities Scatter Plot Linear Regression Correlation Coefficient Coefficient of Determination

9 4 th June 200823 rd SWWT SWENET Status Report 9 Latest changes Improved image browsing included Animated GIF generation –browsing interface (to search through stored images such as e.g. TEC Maps –Select start date and end date from available images to compare 2 images or to generate an animation Improved web service allows platform independent, automated access to space weather data. –Applications (both web and desktop) can access the data stored in the SWENET space weather database.

10 4 th June 200823 rd SWWT SWENET Status Report 10 Latest changes II New "Latest Alerts" page –display alerts on Ap, Dst, Particle Flux >10 Mev, Kp and X-Ray Flux –Latest Indices page showing relevant space weather indices has been improved. Various changes to the the web interface to improve the "user friendliness –The start page provides additional information on SWENET and the Pilot Project. –The Data Access Interface simplified to combine data, plotting and image search functions, – A quick-search text field incorporated in the right sidebar

11 4 th June 200823 rd SWWT SWENET Status Report 11 Latest changes III –Links to facilitate subscription to regular emails –Tutorials link added to the resource section containing step-by-step animated tutorials for various SWENET functions. Create Tables Create 2D Plot Create 3D Plot Image Browsing Get Information by Email
