5 DANS: Data Archiving and Networked Services -offers researchers sustainable access to digital research data -2012 marks our expansion into a wide variety of disciplines -offers a wide range of services: archiving, curation, (re-)use, training&outreach -performs its own research in e-science: for instance data representation, information in context

12 Broadening the scope of DANS DANS broadens its scope to other disciplines, like the Life Sciences and Medical Sciences First step: intensifying collaboration with 3TU.Datacentrum 3TU.Datacentrum has its own trusted digital repository for the technical sciences, giving access to datasets from the 3TU Federation of Technical Universities in the Netherlands
