4 Aims To give an example of change and continuity. To understand the principle of long-term and short-term change. Task 1: As we read through the story of a troubled teenager, highlight where there is change and continuity. Task 2: Decide what the short and long- term changes and continuities are and record them on page 2. Task 3: Repeat the activity for the pages on the history of Kenilworth castle. OHT Lesson 3 Menu Definitions Short-term change – change which lasts for a short period of time before changing again or returning to the original state. Long-term change – a change which occurs which lasts for a considerable period. Short-term continuity – something which continues to occur over a short space of time. Long-term continuity – something which occurs consistently over an extended period of time.
