4. The number of cadaveric donation rate is 3,2 pmp for 2010 in Turkey. The number of patients on dialysis 60.000 and kidney transplantation from cadaveric donors 395 and 2107 from living donors in 2010. There is a big gap between the number of ESRD patients and transplantation.

6. Between 2005 and 2011, a total of 272 paired exchange live kidney transplantation were performed at three transplant centers. Every center has their own paired exchange waiting list.

7. Demogrative datas of donors and recipients

8. 168 of the donors were spouse and 52 of them were parents. The donors should be a relatif till 4th degree and documented by goverment. The marriage should be more than 2 years.

9. 229 of them were conventional and 43 of them were unconventional transplantation. 269 were two-relay, 2 three-relay, 1 four-relay.

10. The HLA missmatch average is 3,37+1,85(0-6). 3 years patient survival 98,7 and greft survival 96,9.

11. Paired donation may expand the living donor pool and decrease the number of patient on the waiting list. The advantages of a living donor transplant are well documented. They include improved long-term graft survival, a lower rate of delayed graft function, the possibilty of pre-emtive transplantation and less time spent on dialysis. It is cost effective according to ABO incompetatible transplantation.
