4 Recent Activities August is for Aerospace AIAA DE Section co-hosted Representative Dr. Andy Harris (MD-1) Issues of defense spending, federal deficit, affordable healthcare act, and future of human spaceflight were discussed Rep. Harris welcomed the opportunity to hear from some constituents on these issues and was interested in gaining greater understanding on the need for human space exploration versus continued robotic missions

9 STEM and BEYOND Night October 9, 2012 The John Carroll School, Bel Air, MD 6-8pm STEM and BEYOND Night is a workshop for 4 th -6 th grade students with hands on activities to increase interest in science and math AIAA – Delaware section will be hosting an Alka-Seltzer rocket experiment If interested in volunteering for the event, please contact Breanne Wooten
