3. Math Identifying strategies and steps for problem solving. Hands on activities for understanding math concepts. Biblical application of using math in the world around us. Memorizing math vocabulary along with math facts

4. Reading Reading exciting adventures of men and women with strong, godly character qualities. Gaining comprehension skills: finding details, drawing conclusions, sequencing, making inference, finding the main idea, identifying facts and opinions, finding context clues, cause and effect Reading for enjoyment and research.

5. Language Identifying correct grammar: Punctuation, Capitalization, Contractions, Plurals, Verb usage, sentence and paragraph structure. Learning and doing steps in a simple research paper: gather information, organize information, write and rewrite, publish and display final work Write and Illustrate a children’s book with a celebration of an author’s tea.

6. Science Study God’s creation: the human body, matter, motion, electricity, earth surface, outer space, eco-systems, and plants Researching, writing, reporting about one of God’s animals. Creating and displaying a model of a wild animal and its habitat.

7. Social Studies Following a timeline and studying of Historical Heroes. Creating posters and orally reporting on a chosen state. Identifying Continents, and states on a world map. Celebrating our American freedom by honoring our military men and women through a patriotic play.
