2 Rotary Club of Eltham Club Assembly Foundation Three distinct fundraising areas/support activities: 1.Annual giving program – “Every Rotarian, Every Year”. Target $2,000. 2.Polio Plus eradication challenge – Food/wine night, AFL Footy Night - Target $4,000. 3.DDF Grant and matching grants – Budaka humanitarian project in Uganda.

3 Rotary Club of Eltham Club Assembly New Generations  NYSF National Youth Science Forum, Canberra  RYLA Rotary Youth Leadership Awards  Rotaract Supporting the Rotaract Club of Diamond Valley;  Interact Supporting the Eltham Interact Club – annual East Timor night  Short term Youth Exchange Between the Rotary Club of Hondo City and Eltham  Ilead Conference – 2 Monty SC students  New Gens night May 23

4 Rotary Club of Eltham Club Assembly Secondary/Future Programs  Siemens Science Experience  RYPEN  Lord Somers camps  High School Interviews

5 Rotary Club of Eltham Club Assembly International  Uganda – Budaka District Supporting health, education and community development –DDF have been available since Angry’s year. –Futures visions project has delayed answer on RI grant  East Timor Orphanage Program 2012/2013 – Health & hygiene, water & education  Rotahomes project in 2013/2014

6 Rotary Club of Eltham Club Assembly Membership  7 new members  Females now 20% of total membership. RI average is 16%  Tent at Festival to showcase our club  BBQ to increase our profile and aid recruitment of new members.  Members pack for visitors  Newspaper has been successful in raising awareness  Recruiting by club members – can you tell people what we do in under a minute?

11 Rotary Club of Eltham Club Assembly Festival  Member participation prior to Festival via David’s committee structure  Member participation at the festival

12 Rotary Club of Eltham Club Assembly Funds  Club finances are pretty good.  Festival was above our budgeted figure  Steady income stream achieved –Still need support from members –Budget target profit was $700 per day for 20 days. –Great way to assist charities that in the past we gave a cheque now we give them a BBQ day.
