2. Vocabulary/ Definitions Polygon: a closed shape made up of line segments Ex. Triangles, rectangles Polyhedron: an object that the faces are polygons Net: a pattern that can be folded to make an object. Regular prism: has regular polygons as bases that are parallel to each other, the other faces are rectangular. Regular pyramid: has a regular polygon as a base, and triangles for the faces. Regular dodecagon: is a polygon with 12 equal sides and equal angles.
