14. Certificate Programs  Available to both degree and non degree seekers  Can be either on campus or online  Includes a limited set of preexisting courses  Affords a credential without full degree program

Certificate Programs  Completion results in formal certificate and transcript notation  Began to formalize in 2013 as response to SACS  Requires Curriculum Committee approval  Must have Academic Learning Compact and Academic Assessment Plan approved  Over 220 currently approved  Can be targeted for licensure or certification

16. “Special” Programs  Anything that doesn’t fit elsewhere!  Predominantly graduate or professional level  Predominantly distance learning  Many programs are “self funded”  Often “off calendar”
