8. Calculating Work Refer to the Calculating Work worksheet We worked all 6 problems together on the board, so you should have detailed notes on how to solve these.

9. Forces and Simple Machines Notes If you don’t have yours, refer to the downloads for the first six weeks. They are dated 9/14.

10. Gizmos and StemScopes I would try to answer the 5 questions that go with the Gizmo we did in the computer lab. I would also finish the Gizmo if you haven’t. I would log in to StemScopes and try the 3 practice quizzes, keeping in mind that this test is over simple machines and work ONLY, not the life science questions.

11. Vocabulary Be sure you can define each of the words in the vocabulary list. For simple machines, be sure you can list examples of each as well.
