3 1 st Questions to Consider…  Have you done everything you can to improve or make the most of your current situation?  Have you spoken to your boss about making changes?  Have you looked into changing jobs within your company?  Are there promotional opportunities?

4 2 nd Questions to Consider…  What will the financial impact of your decision be?  Can you afford to leave the job?  Will you be taking steps forward or backward?  Will you lose benefits?  Could leaving affect my retirement?

5 3 rd Questions to Consider…  Have you done everything possible to resolve conflict?  Have you discussed the conflict with supervisors?  Is it possible that person will leave soon?

6 4 th Questions to Consider…  What about your environment do you not like?  Are all health and safety standards met?  Have you discussed issues with your supervisor?  Could the environment be improved?

7 5 th Questions to Consider…  What impact will leaving the job have on your career path?  How will future employers view your leaving?

8 6 th Questions to Consider…  How will my decision affect others.  Are others depending on my income?  Is leaving a responsible decision?

9 Job Satisfaction  Since your job is a major part of you life, feeling good about it is important.  3 fast and easy ways to improve employment satisfaction: 1. Maintain a good attitude 2. Keep a good balance between work and personal life 3. Learn new skills to increase your value to the company

10 Positive Ways to Leave a Job  Do not feel bad about leaving…  Leave in the correct and mature way.  How could leaving a job in a business like manner benefit you in the future?
