DO YOU KNOW HOW TO CITE YOUR SOURCES?
Citing your sources is important to give credit to someone else’s efforts. There are different ways to cite. At HKA we follow APA guidelines. (APA stands for American Psychological Association.) Each source of information (e.g. books, encyclopedia articles, websites) has its own specific format. Remember: You can always ask your teachers/librarians for help. HKA G5 Citation Guide

ADDITIONAL TIPS FOR YOUR REFERENCE LIST
List all your sources in alphabetical order, no matter their format. Make sure every line after the first line is hanging (hanging indentation). If an author is not mentioned, start your citation with the title. If the publication date is not mentioned, add (n.d.). If you have more than one author, cite in the following manner: Example: Miller, M. & Meyer, S. Capitalize only the first letter of the first word in a title and subtitle. If you have several places of publication listed, only record the first. Underline titles when writing by hand but use italics when creating your bibliography on the computer. HKA G5 Citation Guide
