3 The LQAS Surveys 2008/2010 Method – Two surveys conducted in 2008 and 2010 using LQAS. – 855 women who had delivered in the past 2 years Malaria results PMTCT results 19% of women in 2010 reported using a modern method compared to 13% in 2008. 4 Conclusions Lessons Learnt – There is increase in service uptake – PMTCT service are more integrated – Integration challenged by recurrent stock out of supplies – Limited attendance to post-natal is a missed opportunity Policy Implications –ITN distributed free in ANC as incentive –Use of CORPs –Delivery of PMTCT, ANC and FP at same point –Triangulating HMIS data with survey findings
