4 Program Purpose To improve overall preparation for a potential flu pandemic and to open the lines of communication among all involved To foster cooperation among experts in the field so we can work together on this very important public health issue The program will serve as the basis for several educational materials for medical professionals, including a journal supplement, a CME-accredited monograph with slides and an interactive CME- accredited CD-ROM This is the beginning of what we hope will be an ongoing initiative
