3  Number of paddlers to be selected: 72  based on Fitness test results Land/pool practice attendance Participation in fundraisers, socials etc. Overall attitude/spirit  To be considered for final roster decision, you must fill out the application form  Will be sent out via email next week  Due Sunday February 23 rd @ 6PM  Late applications will not be accepted!

4  What does that mean? It’s time to train harder!  Land practices will continue  Pool practices will continue  You are free to attend these more frequently as we will have increased capacity following cuts

5  Will take place on weekends  Each water practice is mandatory  Held at Bayfront Park in Hamilton  2 hours of water time  9 – 11 am

8  A fun, optional regatta for anyone interested  July 26 th -27 th  NOT included in team fees  $100-$200 per person  This covers regatta registration, additional practices and accommodation

9  Covers the cost of all practices (boat/equipment rental) and regatta fees  Subsidized through fundraising (bake sales, keggers, sponsorships etc.)  Other clubs:  Ryerson: $300+  Western: $400+  Many clubs: $200+ usually in the $300-$400 range

10  Rec/Development Stream: ~$110-140  Competitive Stream: ~$160-$200  Money will be due after cuts on Friday March 7th  Cheque Written out to ‘McMaster Dragon Boat Club’ In memo, write your full name. Delivered to any of your lovely execs at pool/land practices

11 February Kegger TONIGHT! Kegs tapped at 9 @ 118 Broadway Mardi Gras pubcrawl ticket sales Friday February 28 th, 2013 Buy 10 tickets and win a chance to get free swag! We will be attending as a team: stay tuned for predrink details!

17  Additional 1 or 2 practices per week  Held at Sunnyside Park in Toronto  Docks immediately east of the Sunnyside PavillionSunnyside Pavillion  This is to accommodate people residing in the GTA during the summer  1 hour each in evening  Flexible arrangement
