Please find below comprehensive information on registration for your company’s participation in the Vendor Trade Show & Luncheon and the Hotel itself. R EGISTRATION FOR THE C ONFERENCE Let’s start with the costs…as indicated in your ‘Save the Date’ letter, listed below are the rates for the Exhibitors. What does your registration include? Well, besides access to Florida’s leading Educational Procurement experts, you are also cordially invited to the Wednesday evening Welcome Reception & Dinner, and of course, your participation in the Thursday afternoon Vendor Trade Show & Luncheon. Registration Rates: Exhibitor Booth: Early Bird Registration: $350 After March 16: $400 Your Booth registration will include, for the Vendor Trade Show, one – six foot by 36 inch table (or comparable space), including drapery, two chairs, and internet access along with two tickets for the Luncheon that is to be served during the Show. Your registration also includes two tickets to the Wednesday evening Welcome Reception & Dinner where you can meet and mingle with your customers. For those companies wishing to send more than two representatives or inviting a guest or spouse who is not participating in the Show but would like to join in on the other festivities, there is a small fee for each of the events, to cover those costs that are already included in the Booth rate: Extra Exhibitor Representatives, Guest, Spouse: Wednesday Welcome Reception & Dinner: $ 45 Thursday Vendor Trade Show Luncheon: $ 45 If there are any special dietary requests or accessibility needs, please be sure to note this in your registration and we will do our best to see that these are taken care of. Don’t forget that raffle items & give-aways are welcome. Also, after that same date no cancellations with refund will be accepted. H OTEL R ESERVATIONS OK, you’ve registered for the Vendor Trade Show but now you need to book the hotel. Well we’ve worked out a great deal for you…$109 per night, includes breakfast with your customers, free parking day and night, free internet access plus a 10% discount card to local outlets. Nestled among the soft, white sands of St. Pete Beach, Sirata Beach Resort & Conference Center welcomes you to a tropical retreat where you can sit back and relax or enjoy a vast array of activities on one of Florida's most beautiful beaches. Located at 5300 Gulf Blvd, St. Petersburg, Florida 33706, it is only 10 minutes from downtown St. Petersburg! Subject to availability, you also have the option to upgrade your room to Studio for $119 per night or to a Standard or Bayview Suite for $129 per night and the Hotel will even extend the room rates two days prior to the event, if you want to enjoy the St. Petersburg area before attending the Conference! All you need to do is phone 800-344-5999, identify yourself as part of the NAEP Group Block and you can reserve over the phone or they can send you a form via email or fax to fill in and return. To confirm reservations, a valid credit card must be given or 1 st night’s deposit must be received 30 days prior to arrival; refunds possible up to 48 hours prior to arrival. To be guaranteed to receive the group rate you must make the reservation as part of the NAEP Group Block & you need to make the reservation before March 28, 2012. THURSDAY April 26, 2012 (continued) 10:00 - 11: 30 AMKeynote Address - Managing Risk in the Supply Chain Larry Giunipero, Ph.D., CPSD, CPSM, C.P.M. Professor of Marketing & Supply Chain Management, FSU Dr. Giunipero is a Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Florida State University where he teaches undergraduate and graduate level purchasing, materials management and other classes. Dr. Giunipero’s research interests and current projects include e-Purchasing, Supply Chain Strategies, Global Sourcing and Use of Social Media in Procurement. Dr. Giunipero was involved with establishing the field of Purchasing within college programs nationwide via his work at FSU in establishing a purchasing program and related curricula at FSU as one of the first purchasing programs in the nation. How does a vendor "qualify" and what is “transacting business” anyway? Are sole proprietors such as consultants required to do something before doing business with you? What about performers and artists and how about vendors not located in Florida? What does the law say and are there exceptions? Ms. Shoffstall is a seasoned professional with the State of Florida. Ms. Shoffstall will provide an overview of what businesses and individuals must do with the State of Florida before they do business with you. These sessions will focus on the subject matter at hand (not their specific company). They will include a summary of the new E&I contracts they hold in order to introduce you to these contracts; however, these are intended to be general sessions, so please visit their tables at the tradeshow prior to these sessions in order to learn more about these companies in particular. 4:20 - 5:00 PMChanges and New Services Available from E&I Michael Einhorn, Florida Member Service Representative, E&I Cooperative Purchasing Ralph Maier, Director of Contracts for the Southeast Region, E&I Cooperative Purchasing E&I has changed it's organizational structure and has begun offering new services. Ms. Adams has over sixteen years of commercial litigation experience. Her primary areas of practice are in surety, construction defect, bankruptcy, employment liability, and general commercial litigation. Ms. Adams possesses Martindale-Hubbell's AV rating, its highest rating for competence and ethics. She has handled defaults on public and private projects ranging in size from $100 thousand to $75 million. Ms. Adams has spoken an a variety of topics such as Pursuing the Third Party Pocket -- Recovery by the Surety Against Design Professionals, Agents, CPAs and Others and has authored or co-authored various publications including co-author, Recent Developments in Fidelity and Surety Law, Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal, Winter 2007, Volume 42, Number 2.
