2 German Cultural Events Berlinale Film Festival: it is one of the world's leading film festivals. Octoberfest: is a 16-18 day beer festival held yearly in Munich. Love Parade: called the "world's largest techno music festival and free party.” Besides techno music, there is also usually a lot of nudity, free spirited sexual adventures in public places and quite a bit of "general-purpose partying." Frankfurt's Book Fair: is the world's largest trade fair for books.

5 Austrian Cultural Events The Vienna New Years Concert: The Vienna Philharmonic plays concert of classical music each year on New Years. Narcissus Festival: the biggest flower parade in Austria. "All Saint′s Day": takes place on October 31st as day to commemorate the dead. Krampustag: this is the day on which young man dress up in fur, devi′s masks and get oxen tails and bundles of branches as weapons "Glöckler": Young men dressed up in white trousers and dress with large crest-hat decorations that are lit up from the inside and they walk from one door to another.

7 Swiss Cultural Events Silvesterkläuse: They wear masks and costumes with huge cowbells back and front and carry enormous headdresses depicting typical local scenes Tschäggätta tradition: Young unmarried men and boys roam the streets of the villages of the valley, wearing demonic masks and tunics made of goat skin. Sechseläuten festival: include the burning of an effigy known as the Böögg and a parade of children. Chästeilet: owners of cheese producing cows hold a ceremony at which they share their cheese with one another.
