6 HOW REVENUES ARE GENERATED  A service fee is charged to each vendor based on the volume of purchases made by the members from the Network’s awarded contracts.  Vehicles sales will not be charged the service fee. Instead, a flat fee will be charged to the vendor by the Network. This applies to all automobiles, trucks, trailers, or any other titled vehicle.  A copy of the purchase order is submitted to the Network for tallying of service fees to be charged to the participating contract vendor.  The Network will calculate the service fees and invoice vendors on a monthly basis. 7 PURCHASING PROCESS  Members may suggest vendors to include in solicitation notices so as vendors in all areas of state participate.  A college may be the lead on a particular solicitation and partner with the Network by including cooperative purchasing language in its documents.  Members assist in specification development in order to meet unique needs of community colleges.  Required advertisements posted by TACC.  Bid distribution through statewide bid service.  Responses received and opened by TACC in Austin office.
