8 690V, VFD It needs additional step-down transformer, the cable length will be longer, and the transformer cause energy lose, which adds cost. The harmonic distortion is very high, which calls for additional electric devices like EMC filters and harmonic filters 11KV, MVD VFD comparison Adopt multi-power cell parallel connection technology, Input & Output harmonic less than 2% The starting current is very high, which may cause current shock for grid The starting current is low, reduce the current shock for the grid Additional transformer is unnecessary The system can be bypassed The system can not be bypassed
