2 NJ Department of Education’s Administrative Code NJAC 6A:6-1.3 Definitions “Gifted & Talented students” refers to those exceptionally able students who possess or demonstrate levels of ability, in one or more content areas, when compared to their chronological peers in the local school district and who require modifications of their educational program to achieve to their capabilities

3 North Plainfield’s Philosophy The North Plainfield Pro- gram recognizes the “Gifted- ness of all of our students Gifted and Talented students are found across all grade levels, cultural and economic groups

Prof Language = 4 points Proficient Math = 3 points Proficient Language = 3 points OTIS LENNON Nationally Normed School Ability Test (Percentile Score) 99 – 96 = 5 points 89 - 95 = 4 points <89 = 0 points A student must score 10 points for admission into the G&T Inspiration Program.
