2.  Solar energy is, a renewable source that can be used to create energy, in most cases it may use the sun’s rays to power household. Solar energy is formed by the suns rays, for example if you were to see a sun panel on the roof of some one house, they were being supplied with their electricity from the sun, transfering it through their house.

4.  Solar thermal energy transfers heat directly from the sun to heat air or water for residents(house holds) Some people attach solar pannles to power their homes is cheaper then other electricity sources.

5.  Solar energy is a renewable source that can be used to save power, in some cases it uses the sun’s rays to power households (in most cases if you have a solar roof which reflects the sun’s rays to give homes electricity and power). Another reason solar power is renewable is because, it comes from natural resources. Renewable energy are from natural resources such as, sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat.

6. Solar energy is the suns rays (solar radiation) that reach the earth. This energy can be converted into other forms of energy, such as heat and electricity. For example, solar pannles catch the suns rays and use it as electricity to power places such as houses.

9. 1.Do you think solar energy is important? I do because it keeps us warm during winter, it is even more important to home owners who use it! Solar energy saves a LOT of money for home owners. Another great thing is that it gives an positive impact on our enviorment (does not pollute and/or affect our enviorment. 2.Why is it important to you!? Some people are manly interested in helping the enviorment, while others want to be energy independent. Then others….just want to save MONEY!

10.  Solar panels have no moving parts, and so the electricity they produce is called DC which stands for direct current. That is like energy from a battery. The problem with DC……is that it is hard to distribute.  The use of renewable energy sources are expanding very quickly, as cost of fossil fuels rise and more people are even more concerned about their environment issues that can occur (pollution). The sun supplies enough energy in one minute to supply the worlds energy needs for an entire year. It is efficient and even better…enviornmently friendly!
