2 Mint!!! Mint is a herb. Mint is used To help heal gastro-intestinal disorders  It is used because of Menthol To treat diarrhea, gastric fever or toxic infections.  Triggers the biliary secretion and helps the digestion of fats. To help with some cases of asthma, bronchitis, and the flu  They use the antispasmodic and sedative properties of the mint.

3 Parsley If you have 25-30 mg of parsley a day, you will have your daily amount of vitamin C. Contains more vitamins than lemons, oranges, ect. Used to help with many illnesses, and can get rid of your freckles and your make- up. Beneficial to your organs.

4 Lavender Used in natural remedies Has very calming effects Can help with head aches, anxiety states, and more. Can help with treating colds and the flu Is good as an insectiside

5 Lemon The Romans used this fruit for improving the taste of their culinary preparations. In aromatherapy, essential lemon oil is used in treating hepatic affections. Lemons contain lots of vitamins include B1, B2, B3, C, PP, A, and carotene Just one lemon can cure hepatic or respiratory diseases, varix or even obesity!

6 Clover Red clovers are considered to be one of the richest source of isoflavon. Isoflavon can be used to help treat cancer. Treat, not cure. Red clover can also reduce the risk of breast cancer. People mostly use the stem, flowers, and leaves.

7 Wheat Wheat came from south-western Asia It can come in handy when fighting your cholesterol because it contains fat essential acids. There is such thing as green wheat juice.

8 Shepherds Purse It is a common medical herb It’s therapeutic uses aren’t known widely It contains many ingredients like organic acids, tannins, lectins, bitter compounds, volatile oil, vitamins and more. The “Purse” has haemostatic and vasoconstrictor effects that can stop all types of bleeding. If you get nose bleeds a lot, get some shepherds purse.

9 Celery Celery is a herb. Their leaves are used for spicing up foods and drinks. The vitamins inside a celery include A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, K, PP It is said that pregant women should not eat too much celery for reasons I don’t exactly know.

10 Work Sited We mostly used one very helpful website http://www.liveandfeel.com/medicinalplants.ht ml It lists many different types of plants that are used in the medical fields. It has a very long list in alphabetical order and it can help you if you have any questions. There are many plants used in things that you use in your everyday life that you wouldn’t even think have plants in them, so just think about how many plants are used in just one day.
