2 Partnership between WYTSS & Barclays Financial education game aimed at young people aged between 16-25 years Topics from budgeting and banking to affordable credit, credit agreements and illegal money lending Aims to empower young people with the knowledge to make more informed financial choices

3 Almost half of young people in Britain accept that they will be in debt for most of their lives 15% of those who go bankrupt are under 30 The average household debt in Britain is nearly £8000 On average, 15-24 year olds spend £4000 each year on socialising and non-essentials Only a 1/3 of young people consider themselves to be financially literate, compared to 50% of adults Young adults also express low levels of confidence about making the right decisions when choosing banking products The average student starting university in 2010 is expected to graduate with £24,702 of debt. WHY….
