12. The Occultation! On Aug 11 at 21:58 ADT (Aug 12 at 00:58 UTC) the main belt asteroid (52) Europa will occult the star TYC6223-00442-1 in Ophiuchus as seen from New Brunswick, Canada. The asteroid will be near its stationary point and therefore will block the star from view for the unusually long period of up to 81 seconds. Typically, NB experiences more than 50% chance of 5/10ths clear skies or better in August; best in the path. 12
