A typical Test & Inspection Report will include test reports, dimensional measurements, visual inspection results and gages used with calibration dates as required by the specification referenced on the Applied Materials drawing. The Test & Inspection Report must include reference to the part number, item or part number revision, the required specification and/or procedure and the revision of the specification or procedure.  Refer to the Appendix section for an example of a Test & Inspection Report. The supplier must include a TIR for all special processes performed. The data required (Attribute or Variables data) will depend upon the process performed. If a measurement characteristic for the Special Process is specified in the notes, on the drawing or in the title block, a physical variable measurement is required and must be recorded. The Test and Inspection Report is commonly referred to as a “T I R” by FAI Reviewers at Applied Materials.
