2 Iroquois (Huey) The Bell UH-1 Iroquois (Huey) was a military helicopter that U.S military used to bring supplies and move the injured. There were ~7,000 deployed in Vietnam and it raised troop morale because it was a strong asset to many battles and let them know they would be flown to a infirmary. 6 Douglas AC-47 Spooky The Douglas AC-47 Spooky was a US gun ship that helped assist ground forces. It helped raise moral of the troops because it gave them support and cover fire for hours, and it was also used to drop flares in certain situations.
