the aim is to ensure that patient safety aspects are a part of all decisions made in Danish health care
has a board consisting of representatives from a wide range of stakeholders in Danish health care
gathers, spreads and develops knowledge and initiatives
provides advice to legislators and stakeholders, arranges study tours and conferences, suggest standards for safe operation, creates consensus and initiates projects
has an ongoing working program with prioritized areas for improvement
