2 EMS Complaints for 2010 Family called and complained about their family members glasses being broken after gurney tipped over. –Resolved at staff level Family member complained about a medic crew forcing entry into a family members home due to a lifeline call. Medic crew found a patient screaming inside, tried to find way in and entered by dislodging an AC unit from a window. Medic crew wasn’t advised by dispatch that family was enroute with a key. It was estimated that the patient had been laying on floor for a day or two. –Resolved at staff level

5 2010 EMS Training Highlights Expanded online training programs to include ACLS and EPC Idaho Optional Modules –Blood glucose monitoring, epi pens, pelvic immobilization devices, CPAP, IM & SQ injections and RSI. EVIP for all employees New reserve firefighters Paramedic consortium agreement with LCSC

6 2010 EMS Highlights Protocol updates and new format for Asotin County New MPD in Asotin County New MPD contract with Dr. Jay Hunter Based M-73 out of ACFD#1 Station Modified EMS response assignments to improve response times in Lewiston Guarantee paramedic staffing at Station 4 IAFF contract extension EMS taskforce formed
