2 06-07 © TU Darmstadt-IPG p 2 Abstract The CEGRN 2011 Campaign took place from 20 to 25 June 2011. 14 Central European Countries: Austria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Rumania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine, with the involvement of some 85 stations. Data processing with state of the art software, and IGS08 orbits and antenna models according to the EPN standards by five independent Analysis Centers in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy and Slovakia, with the Center in Graz acting as a Combination Center. Multiyear combination, with time series spanning a timeline of up to 17 years (1994-2011). All data up to and including the 2009 Campaign have been re-analysed with the reprocessed orbits and IGS05 antenna models. The 2011 data set is based on IGS08. Future: Alignment to ETRF2000, combination with EPN, REPRO2, Dense velocity field, densification of ITRF2008

15 06-07 © TU Darmstadt-IPG p 15 New Challanges  The new challanges of CEGRN focus on Science and Applications  Science: - support the IAG project on Dense Velocity Fields by providing Epoch Sinex files resulting from state-of-the-art processing standards (IGS- EPN guidelines) - Geokinematical interpretation of the velocity field (TopoEurope project, Wegener) and characterization of areas subject to the largest deformation (Balkans, Dinarids, Vrancea, Eastern Alps)  Applications (direct relation to FP7/FP8 Calls) - INSPIRE: the CEGRN network can serve as geospatial infrastructure for harmonization of geodetic standards across Europe - NEREUS (Network of European Regions Using Space Technologies): has one WG on GNSS and one on GMES; powerful lobby in Brussels - EUPOS: requires stations with high qualification and trained personnel - Emerging networks: ALBPOS (G.Stangl’s baby!)
